These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by MyerrsCFO Inc. ("MyerrsCFO", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Services
MyerrsCFO Inc. provides the following services:
- SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) systems and bookkeeping playbooks
- Live bookkeeper training programs (individual sessions and multi-week programs)
- Full-service bookkeeping via an in-house team (Onboarding Specialist, Bookkeeper, Senior Bookkeeper)
- VAT filing assistance for UK and Canada
- US sales tax filing assistance
Important: MyerrsCFO provides bookkeeping and bookkeeping-adjacent services. We are not a licensed accounting firm, CPA firm, or tax advisory practice. For tax strategy, tax filing, and legal financial advice, you should engage a qualified CPA or tax professional in your jurisdiction.
2. Engagement and payment
Service agreements
Engagement of MyerrsCFO services is governed by a separate Service Agreement that will be provided prior to commencement of services. These Terms apply to all engagements in addition to any specific Service Agreement terms.
Fees and payment
- Fees for services are as quoted and agreed in your Service Agreement
- Monthly retainer fees are due in advance at the start of each service period
- One-time products (SOP packs, training sessions) are due at the time of purchase
- Late payments may result in suspension of services after 14 days' notice
- All fees are non-refundable except as stated in Section 4 below
Taxes on fees
Our fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your jurisdiction on the services you receive.
3. Client responsibilities
To enable MyerrsCFO to perform services effectively, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and financial records as reasonably requested
- Grant necessary access to relevant software accounts (QBO, Seller Central, Shopify, etc.)
- Review and respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe
- Notify us promptly of any changes that may affect your bookkeeping (new accounts, business structure changes, new platforms)
- Review all deliverables and reports upon receipt and raise concerns within 14 days
MyerrsCFO is not liable for errors, omissions, or delays caused by your failure to provide accurate or complete information in a timely manner.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Monthly retainer services
You may cancel monthly retainer services by providing 30 days' written notice. Services will continue through the end of the paid period. No refund is provided for the current period after work has commenced.
SOP systems and digital products
Due to the nature of digital products, SOP packs and playbooks are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, please contact us within 7 days of purchase.
Training programs
Training sessions may be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit that session. Multi-week programs may be refunded on a pro-rata basis for uncompleted sessions with 7 days' written notice.
Our right to cancel
MyerrsCFO reserves the right to terminate services with 30 days' notice for any reason, or immediately in cases of non-payment, fraudulent activity, or material breach of these Terms. In such cases, a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees may be provided at our discretion.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information shared during the engagement. MyerrsCFO treats all client financial information as strictly confidential and will not disclose it to any third party except as required by law or as necessary to deliver the services (e.g. sharing with relevant accounting software platforms).
Our team members sign confidentiality agreements as part of their employment. Client data is never used for purposes other than delivering your agreed services.
6. Intellectual property
Our materials
All SOP systems, playbooks, templates, training materials, and other content created by MyerrsCFO Inc. remain the intellectual property of MyerrsCFO Inc. Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own business purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share our materials with third parties.
Your materials
All financial records, reports, and documents you provide to us remain your property. We do not claim any ownership over client-provided materials.
7. Limitation of liability
MyerrsCFO Inc. provides bookkeeping services with care and professional diligence. However:
- We are not liable for decisions you make based on your financial reports
- We are not liable for tax penalties, regulatory actions, or financial losses arising from information you failed to provide or disclosed inaccurately
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
We strongly recommend that all clients engage a qualified CPA or tax advisor in their jurisdiction for tax strategy, tax filings, and regulatory compliance. Our bookkeeping services support your CPA — they do not replace one.
8. Myerrs Glass Resort
Complimentary accommodation at Myerrs Glass Resort is offered as a client benefit. MyerrsCFO reserves the right to modify or withdraw this benefit at any time. Accommodation is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance through your account manager. You are responsible for your own travel costs. MyerrsCFO is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage occurring during your stay.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. For clients in the UK, EU, or Canada, nothing in these Terms removes any statutory rights you hold under applicable consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify existing clients of material changes by email with at least 30 days' notice. Continued engagement of our services after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
